The Snoozing Bats page 7

As Fay led them deeper into the cave, the cavern gave up its secret creatures, including hibernating bats perched on the cave's roof.  Meg gasped at the sight.  Fay was embarrassed.

"Oh, god, you must think me so weird?  The way I live with wild animals."

Morgan smiled, "Why don't you explain it?"

Fay agreed, "Of course,  I was a different child to all my classmates.  I had no interest in gossip.  My interests were narrow, and I couldn't read the room.  The few friends I made soon turned on me without reason.  If I upset them I don't know what I did.  I guess my normal mask did not work well within the noise.  One day I decided to opt out of a judging place.  Hence my peaceful haven "

Megan lightened the sad mood, "I love your bats."

Dyfnder mewn ogaf, gwelodd Meg yr ystlum yn gaeafu ar y to.

Cofynodd hi'n gyda difyrrwch, "Hoffet ti ddymunol anifeiliad?"

Criododd hi, "Mae'r anifeiliad yn hyfryd.  Doedd yn ddim yn gwawdio.   Maen nhw yn ddifalch.  Roeddwn i yn hapus achos doedd i ddim yn byw mewn lle peryglus.  Doedden nhw ddim yn rhwystro fi.  Does dim ots gyda fi."

Roedd Morgan yn gytuno, "Rwyt ti'n eisiau derbyniol Fay.  Maen ni yn derbyn ti."

Roedd Meg ac Alun yn llonni gyda plesur.
