Mai, The Golden Eagle page 9

After the solar eclipse, the friends walked a little further.  They stopped as a cloud loomed over them.  They looked up and shrieked in fright.  There above them was a large bird.  The bird spied them, and swooped down a few feet in front of them.  They froze to the spot as they eyed the golden eagle. 

The giant eagle spoke after a moment of fearful silence, "Don't be scared.  I am Mai.  What are you doing here?"

Morgan said, "Aled, the robot is looking for a new home.  Can you help him settle in, Mai?"

Mai cast beady eyes on Aled, "There is room in my nest since my chicks flew away recently.  I could do with the company, I hate an empty home."

Aled bolted towards her, "You are kind, Mai.  I will sweep the nest when you are out hunting."

Ar y fwrdd, roedd  eryr aur yn dod lan o goeden fawr.  Roedd eryr yn sefyll tu flaen i nhw.

Roedd hi yn cofyn, "Mai ydw i.  "Pam wyt ti'n teithio yma?"

Roedd Aled yn ateb, "Rydw i'n hoffi yn byw gyda ti."

Roedd Mai yn awyrynnu, "Fe ddylet ti yn aros mewn fy nyth wag.  Mae digon o stafell gyda fi.  Fe fydda i ofalu am Aled."

Fe ddwuedodd Morgan, "Rwyt ti'n garedig, Mai.  Gofaluwch am Aled.  Fe ddylen ni fynd nol y barc nawr."

Deutsch

Als. die drei am fub des berges standen, umhullte sie plotzlich ein schattten von oben.  Sie schattten nach oben und sahen einen adler herabsturzen.  Er landete nur wenige meter vor ihnen.  Der steinadler musterte die drei.

Der Adler fragte, "Ich bin Mai.  Was macht ihr hier?"

Aled sagte, "Hallo!  Ich bin Aled.  Konnte Ich bitte bei dir wahnen?  Ich verspreche, brar zu sein."

Mai sagte, "Ja, in meinem nest ist noches viel platz, seit die kuken groB geworden sind."

Morgan sagte, "Wir sollten zuruck, Meg bevor wir den heiBluftballon verpassen."

Die beiden winkten Aled und seiner neuen freundin Mai zum abschied."
